About the joints
In the anatomy a joint is called an articulation (or junction) of two or more bones. With the mammals the junction are usually divided into three groups:
- synartroses — immobile (fixed)
- amfiartroses (half-joints) — partially movable;
- diartroses (true joints) — movable.
The majority of the joints apply to junctions.
Joint diseases
Joint diseases occur as a result of poorly treated traumas or micro-traumas, metabolic or immune abnormalities in the organism, ruptures of ligaments, physical load and also overweight.
